Bulbs & care
Bulbs & care
Stay within the maximum wattage printed on this page and on the socket. A shade and a socket are rated for the heat they can take, and going over it is a real fire risk. For warm, evening-coloured light look for a 2700K bulb; an LED at that rating runs cool and lasts years.
Dust with a dry, soft cloth — avoid household glass cleaner on glass or crystal parts. Unplug before cleaning, and keep shades clear of curtains and bedding. More in our Lighting & Care Guide.
The corner a ceiling light never reaches
Overhead light flattens a room. One lamp in the right corner does the opposite — it gives the room a centre, and everything past the edge of the light softens into shadow.
Put the Great Smoky Mountains National Park Vintage 90s Graphic Shirt, Retro Comfort Colors®Mountain Cabin Bear USA Nostalgia Unisex Tee where you sit in the evening, switch the overheads off, and see how different the same room feels.

Questions, Answered
Does it come with a bulb?
Does it come with a bulb?
Most of our lamps do not, and we say so on every product page. It is deliberate — the bulb decides the colour of the light, and that is a matter of taste. Each page lists the bulb type and the maximum wattage so you know exactly what to buy.
How bright is it?
How bright is it?
Check the maximum wattage above — that is the honest answer. A lamp rated to 7 watts is accent lighting: a glow for a shelf or a windowsill, not something to read by. A lamp rated to 60 or 100 watts will light a table or a bed.
What bulb colour should I choose?
What bulb colour should I choose?
Look for 2700K for the warm, yellowish light people associate with lamps and evenings. Anything from 4000K upward reads as office lighting. If you plan to use a dimmer, buy a bulb marked dimmable.
What if it arrives broken?
What if it arrives broken?
Send us photos of the item and the packaging within 7 days of delivery. We replace it or refund you in full and cover the shipping. You do not need to send a broken glass piece back.
How do I clean it?
How do I clean it?
Unplug it first, then dust with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid household glass cleaner on glass or crystal parts — it can leave a film. Never let liquid near the socket.
Can I return it if it is not right for the room?
Can I return it if it is not right for the room?
Yes — 30 days from delivery, unused and in its original packaging with all parts. Change-of-mind return shipping is at your cost. Email tiemnhabia@gmail.com and we will sort it out.
